CRAFTED IN THE HEART OF SHEFFIELD

The Edwin Jagger manufacturing company may be less than forty years old, but its story has been centuries in the making. The Sheffield cutlery industry's records date back to 1794, when knife blades were forged using power from five of the city's seven rivers. In 1912, Sheffield native Harry Brearley's discovery of Stainless Steel at the Brown Firth Laboratories marked a significant advancement for the industry.

Inspired by years of experience in the Sheffield cutlery industry, Neil Jagger created the first Edwin Jagger razor in 1988. This led to the introduction of the company's first shaving brush in 1990, which quickly gained customer interest. In 1992, Edwin Jagger moved to a dedicated workshop in the Sheffield cutlery quarter, employing artisan craftsmen to assist in production.

The Chatsworth Collection, inspired by razors of the 1930s, was introduced in 1996 and became the company's longest-running range. The new Edwin Jagger factory opened in the heart of Sheffield's historical manufacturing district in 1997, and the arrival of new CNC computer-controlled turning machines in 2000 allowed the company to produce more sleek and modern designs.

In 2007, Edwin Jagger introduced its expertly formulated range of soaps and creams, which provide an incredible post-shave feeling. The following year, the company launched its first DE safety razor, each with "DE8" in its name to honour the release of its single-blade range.

In 2017, Edwin Jagger was appointed as one of only three Gillette Trusted Partners in the world, certifying the parts used are genuine. The company's 3ONE6 stainless steel razors, crafted in the UK's 'Steel City', were introduced in 2019 as the pinnacle of Edwin Jagger shaving instruments.

Recognizing the need for sustainable alternatives, Edwin Jagger replaced animal hair with synthetic fibres in the majority of its shaving brushes in 2020.

EXCEPTIONALLY SKIN PERFECTING

This shaving brush features a balanced handle crafted from specially selected synthetic material and, when used with a quality shaving cream or soap, will create a rich shaving lather. Manufactured using the best-quality specially selected materials, this shaving brush handle has a sleek and sophisticated ebony design.

PRECISION ENGINEERED, PREMIUM QUALITY

Synthetic brushes have seen immense popularity lately as the world turns to using more sustainable alternatives to old classics. Thanks to recent technological advancements, it is now possible to get the same rich and luxurious lather and delicate touch from purely synthetic fibres. These brushes also dry quicker, last longer, and are suitable for all skin types.

HANDFINISHED, CLASSIC DESIGN

A quality brush will lead to a comfortable shave with less cuts and irritation. Highly effective at exfoliating the face, lifting the facial hair, and preparing the beard for shaving. To keep your shaving brush in top condition for as long as possible, we recommend rinsing the hairs in warm water after every shave and then hanging to dry in a stand.

IMPRESSIVE, PROFESSIONAL RESULTS

Sculpted to fit neatly in your hand, this brush has a slender design with a moulded shoulder around the middle of the handle and a flared base. This classic design is finished with the Edwin Jagger logo proudly displayed in the middle as a mark of the manufacturing quality.
