The MÜHLE Shaving Culture was born in 1945 at a factory in Saxony, northern Germany. For over 75 years, this family-owned business has designed, developed, and manufactured the finest quality shaving products. Today, MÜHLE razors, brushes, and accessories are used by shaving enthusiasts worldwide.

During the founding in 1945, Otto Johannes Müller returned from the war and established the business, creating the first shaving brushes and designing the MÜHLE signet. In 1965, Hans-Jürgen Müller took over the company, which had grown to 40 employees and was exporting products to 36 countries. However, in 1972, under pressure from the German Democratic Republic, Hans-Jürgen Müller was forced to sell the company, and MÜHLE became a state-owned enterprise. In 1987, the business was rebranded and only manufactured brushes for the state, with Hans-Jürgen Müller becoming a self-employed brush maker.

The new Europe evolved in 1990, and Hans-Jürgen Müller regained the family business, trading as Hans-Jürgen Müller KG, with the MÜHLE signet remaining. Despite struggles to survive after reunification, the company gradually won new customers and rehired former employees. The dawn of the new millennium saw the offering expanded to a full range of wet shaving goods, and the MÜHLE brand came to the fore.

In 2021, MÜHLE launched the first safety razor with the needs of all users in mind, regardless of gender. The MÜHLE ROCCA Safety Razor is a closed-comb design, providing an ideal close yet mild wet shave. Made from long-lasting and corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this premium product delivers a distinctly close and comfortable wet shave.
